Reverend Andrew P. MacDonald, son of Andrew S. MacDonald and Irene Lewis MacDonald was born in Cardigan, PEI, on February 10, 1933. He Graduated from St. Dunstan's University with a BA. in June of 1955. He attended the Grand Seminary of Montreal and graduated from Universite de Montreal with a BTh. in 1959 and was ordained to the priesthood in May 23, 1959. He served in various parishes on PEI, including St. Mary's of the People, Hunter River, from 1987-1988, as well as several parishes in the Dominican Republic for the Latin American Mission Program of the Diocese of Charlottetown. He retired from active ministry in July 6, 2000 and lives in Charlottetown.
